How to reach Alcalá
From Adolfo Suarez Madrid-Barajas Airport
- By taxi: Take a taxi from the airport to Alcalá de Henares. The journey takes about 20 minutes and the fare is approximately 50 €.
- By bus: Take bus number 824 from airport terminals T1 and T2. Get off the bus in Vía Complutense-Calle Brihuega in Alcalá de Henares,
which is located in the city centre and is the closest stop to the conference venue.
The journey takes approximately 50 minutes and the ticket price is about 4 €.
There are buses every 40 minutes from Mon-Fri between 6.40 and 22.00.
- By train: From terminal T4 take Cercanias (local trains) line C1 to Atocha station. Then take line C7 to Alcalá de Henares, or line C2,
which ends in Guadalajara. Check the final destination as well as the number of the line. Get off at Alcalá de Henares station.
From terminals T1, T2 and T3 take underground Line 8 (the pink line) to Nuevos Ministerios station. Then follow the signs for Cercanías and
take line C7, which ends in Alcalá de Henares, or line C2, which ends in Guadalajara. Get off at Alcalá de Henares station.

- By bus: From the Transport Interchange Complex (Intercambiador) in Avenida de América (Avenida de América underground station)
take the ALSA intercity bus number 223, which has departures every 10-15 minutes. Get off the bus in Vía Complutense-Calle Brihuega in Alcalá de Henares.
